School kayak trips – class outings on the Nida
A kayak trip as a school outing. Calm Nida, shorter routes adjusted to the group and full logistical coordination at one base.
A class trip students will remember
A kayak trip is one of the most memorable forms of school outing. Outdoor activity, learning to cooperate and direct contact with the natural environment of the Nida valley. We handle school groups with full logistical coordination and a safety briefing for every participant.
Why the Nida works for school outings
The Nida valley is a protected landscape, so the trip combines active recreation with real wildlife observation. The river's calm current makes the route accessible even to students without prior kayaking experience. Every participant receives a life jacket and a short briefing before the start.

How we organise it
Contact and arrangements
Call or write to us. We'll agree on the date, number of people, route and additional options (campfire, overnight stay).
Arrival and briefing
At the agreed time, we meet at the agreed location. A short briefing, kayak allocation, and we're off.
Trip on the Nida
The whole group paddles the chosen route together. Stops for rest, photos and sightseeing. Pace adjusted to the group.
Campfire and socialising
At the finish, we return to base. If you fancy it – we can prepare a campfire and grill. Time for shared memories.
Recommended routes
For school groups we usually suggest shorter and calmer routes – selected with participants without experience in mind and leaving room for breaks.

Frequently asked questions
Routes for school groups are chosen with beginners in mind, on calmer, predictable stretches of the Nida. Every participant receives a life jacket, and we run a short briefing before the start.
For school groups we most often recommend shorter routes such as Żerniki – Mokrsko Dolne or Tokarnia – Brzegi. Pace and breaks are adjusted to the group.
We provide equipment (kayaks, paddles, life jackets), the safety briefing, start/finish logistics and operational coordination. Programme details and any extras (e.g. a campfire after the trip) are agreed at the time of booking.
